CHECKERS GT

    The CHECKERS GIRLS TEAM began with 9 and 11 year old sisters racing Go-Karts.  We raced Jr. Champ Karts at three different circuits.  We raced two dirt tracks and one asphalt track.  We raced Go-Karts for 8 months before advancing to Mini Cup Cars. We now have our sights set on the Fast Mini Cup Series Championship.

    We stared racing at a family Go Kart track in Tampa, FL and couldn't get enough, so we moved on to real racing.  We raced Karts 8 short months and I, (05) 11 years old,) took 2 - 2nd place championships.  One at Auburndale Kartway and one at Desoto Speedway. Aaron, my sister, (08) 9 years old took a 4th place championship at Auburndale Kartway and a 5th place championship at Desoto Speedway.

      Now we race mini cups with the FAST MINI CUP SERIES. (mini cups are 1/2 scale Nextel car,) top of page.)We are now 12 and 10 years old and in 2nd 3rd for the points, not far behind the leader. Now our goal in racing is to get good enough to join the FAST TRUCKS RACING SERIES.
